The experience of finiteness and openness to transcendence
The world is full of events such as earthquakes, floods, lightning , life and death itself which by their nature are impressive human being. And before these phenomena and the inability of human beings to understand them, the human being lives feelings of helplessness fruit of his imperfect and contingent condition , living a harrowing experience of his finitude. And it is the experience of finitude that makes the human being to glimpse something transcendent and mysterious , assigning a mysterious presence , sacred and divine , the sense of what surrounds him and that escapes him to his understanding. This is where religion has a privileged relationship coma transcendence as an intermediary between man and the sacred.
